Student Expectations

Student activities are the vehicle through which the knowledge and understandings, skills and attitudes about animal care and welfare are learned and demonstrated. Activities focus on the specific learning outcomes in the AGR 1040: Animal Basics course and culminate with a final project and personal statement.

Student choice is built into many of the activities and learning contexts in this course. Some activities are graded.  Others are not.

Students must complete the graded activities in order to meet the learning expectations in the AGR 1040: Animal Basics course. Assessment criteria are outlined in the Assessment Rubrics and Grade Book topic elsewhere in this Teacher Resources module.
