Module Summary

In this module you defined the three main areas of animal welfare and the basic elements of responsible animal care that go into proving for such welfare. With those in mind, you then examined the characteristics of horse breeds, specifically the breed of your horse.  Finally, you looked at how to monitor the health of your horse.  While some specifics may vary depending on the age / activity level of your horse (something which we will discuss in the next module), the areas of animal welfare and general indicators of good health we discussed pertain to all breeds.
