Overview

How should you recognize and treat stress and ailments in your horse?

Horses require people to observe, monitor and provide healthy environments. Horse handlers and owners must be familiar with signs of normal behaviour as well as signs of stress. You will compare and assess the causes, symptoms and treatments of different sources of stress. You will also identify veterinary services that help you provide care for your horse.

Horse Health Care

Horses, like people, are susceptible to, and exhibit, signs of stress. Veterinarians provide expert care, the latest technology and medications that support and improve a horse’s health and performance. What responsibility do you have to monitor your horse’s condition and obtain expert support when needed?
