Activity 4.2 – Assessing Wounds & Illnesses

All horse owners and caretakers need to be able to assess wounds and illnesses so that they can make responsible decisions on care. This activity will require you to make a pocket guide demonstrating identification, prevention, and treatment of different wounds and diseases. 

Note that this is a graded activity. A grading rubric is provided with the activity.

1. Open the copy of the Module 4 Activities booklet on your computer.
2. Scroll down to the “Assessing Wounds & Illnesses” activity in the booklet.
3. Respond to each of the questions provided.
