Activity 4.1 – Monitor Vital Signs (Practical)

Keeping track of your horse’s vital signs is important to monitoring health. It helps you to know if your horse is ill or needs veterinary care. In this activity, you will monitor your horse’s vital signs over 4 days using a chart. Then you will make observations about what the vital signs indicate about your horse’s health. 

Note that this is a graded activity. A grading rubric is provided with the activity.

1. Open the copy of the Module 4 Activities booklet on your computer.
2. Scroll down to the “Monitor Vital Signs” activity in the booklet.
